Andrew Notier
AMPWDA Trainer (Mantracking)
Andrew served in the 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion with the United States Marine Corps. He was first deployed overseas as a scout team leader, and then again as a vehicle commander in the initial invasion of Iraq.
After earning his Master’s Degree, Andrew moved into a career in law enforcement. He began with a municipal police department, and now works as a Deputy Sheriff, serving on the department’s Special Response Team.
Andrew is a member of the International Society of Professional
Trackers and is constantly training to improve his tracking skills for both use in the line of duty and to better himself as an instructor for law enforcement, corrections and search & rescue personnel.
Worthy of special mention are completion of Tactical Tracking
training (Levels I and II) and the Fugitive Manhunt Course at the
Mid-Atlantic Narcotics Training Academy.
