2010 Fall Seminar
Sept. 12th through Sept. 17th, 2010

The 2010 American Mantrailing Academy Fall Seminar will run from September 12th through September 17th. This seminar includes day and night trailing exercises, classroom training and real life scenarios. In-depth classroom and field training on Man Tracking without the dog, utilizing ground and vegetation disturbance, will be featured. Additional after hours training in other SAR and K_9 related areas will be provided. Certifications will be held on Friday September 17th from 8AM to 5PM at a separate location from the academy. Each handler will receive one certification attempt with their paid academy tuition.
Our base camp will be located at A-1 Campus - 4355 East Landry Lane - Kingman, Indiana. This facility is located on 580 acres in beautiful Parke County (home of the Covered Bridge Festival). It will provide us with a much larger area for trailing right on the premises. This means less driving and more trailing. The facilities are very nice, up to date and air conditioned. Early check-in will be available from 4pm until 9pm on Sunday September 12th, 2010. Classes start Monday morning at 8AM sharp. The seminar will conclude on Friday morning.
The cost per Team is $365.00 for members, or $400.00 for non-members. The cost for Observers, Back Ups, or Ground Search Team Members without dogs is $265.00 for members and $300.00 for non members. This fee includes lodging, meals, all academy material, a 2010 Fall Academy T-Shirt, AMA Training Manual, a Photo CD of the Fall Academy and certification (so long as the standards are met). Space will be limited to the first 15 paid teams. Once payment is received, your enrollment will be secured. Sign up today!
